How to Get started

SCHEDULE YOUR FREE CONSULTATION

 The first step working with James at BFT is meeting for a 30-minute consultation where we will go over goals, current schedule and training availability, address any past injuries or health concerns. An important aspect that we like to have potential clients have answered in brief would be “What do you want to achieve and state why this achievement is important to you?” While we build athletes, at BFT we want to know you as much on a personal level as we can so we can cater what’s right for you physically and mentally.

After the 30-minute consultation, we’ll collectively choose a program that’s best for the athlete/client. Whether you choose one on one sessions, private coaching, nutritional guidance, or a one time fitness/performance assessment, we’ll get you punched in the schedule as soon as possible!

This training service is for individuals looking to improve their health and all domains of fitness, including strength, muscular endurance, cardiorespiratory endurance, power, agility, balance, and coordination. Personal training sessions and programming will be implemented to help you achieve any fitness-related goals that you have. Each program is unique to everyone and will be structured based on the goals of each client and physical boundaries/limitations. Whether you are looking to simply improve your fitness for health, supplement your recreational activities, or simply want a consistent fitness program you can stick to, this tier is for you.

This service is strictly for athletes looking to improve performance in their sport. While the specific sport skills are addressed by the sports coach, the athlete needs a base level of strength and conditioning in order to perform at their best. When working with James, he’ll review an athlete’s needs and then create and deliver a strength and conditioning program best preparing them to withstand the intense season training for their sport. This program also helps prepare high school or college athletes for the more advanced strength and conditioning programs they will be doing at the next level. With over 15 years of working with athletes, James has provided high-level performance training which includes power weightlifting, Olympic weightlifting, running mechanics, multidirectional training, and combine preparation. As a former football coach at the high school level, he has a passion for getting athletes prepared at having the best shot of excelling at the next level.

This service is for individuals who are looking for another training program to either supplement or replace their current rehabilitative training. With rising costs and difficulty of gaining medical coverage, individuals are seeking additional methods of improving joint-related issues outside of the conventional medical process and one that they can do on a regular basis. The goal for this program is to get you functional and back to life’s activities that you always loved. While James has had several years of experience studying functional mobility and stability in a pre/rehab setting, he also collaborates with several clinicians in the area for guidance on appropriate protocols for training.
